Gerald E. Smith, D.D.S., M.S.D., ABO
Dr. Gerald Smith grew up in Spokane, participating in many of the activities that make this region such a great place to live. He received his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington. He then completed his orthodontic residency program at the prestigious University of the Pacific in San Francisco. In addition to obtaining his specialty certification at UOP, Dr. Smith also earned a Master of Science degree in dentistry. Dr. Smith is passionate about his work and returned to Spokane to create beautiful smiles region wide.
Dr. Smith is actively involved in many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Washington Society of Orthodontists, and the Spokane District Dental Society. He has completed the rigorous requirements to be Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Smith and his team continually update their orthodontic knowledge by participating in continuing education courses, ensuring that you and your family receive the best, state-of-the-art orthodontic care. He has been voted “Top Dentist” by his peers in the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene area four years in a row.
Dr. Smith and his wife, Connie, have three children, and much of his free time is focused on his family. He enjoys skiing, fishing, sports, traveling and photography.
